Global Search — Find Anything Instantly
Keepsake's global search lets you find anything in your workspace in seconds — contacts, pages, tasks, notes, archived notes, and journal entries. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the app to open it. It searches across everything simultaneously and takes you directly where you need to go.
Opening Global Search
Keyboard shortcut
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux). This works from any screen in the app.
Header button (desktop)
Click the ⌘K button in the header bar. It's always visible at the top of the screen.
Magnifying glass (mobile)
Tap the magnifying glass icon in the header on mobile devices.
Important: text fields
When your cursor is inside a text field, Cmd+K creates a Markdown link instead — that's a standard text editing shortcut. Global search only triggers when no text field is focused.
Tip
Cmd+K is the fastest way to find anything in Keepsake — learn it, love it.
